Middle Market Underwriting Assistant - Denver, CO

The Underwriting Assistant (UA) works closely with the Mid Market Field Manager and is a key member of the new business production team. Coordinates all aspects of reviewing and setting up new business for quoting, obtains information from agents and customers, prepares information for collaborations, processes necessary quote revisions and coordinates policy issuance. May track customer touch points for the MMFM who acts as the account steward and may be involved in monthly renewal meetings. The UA provides much needed administrative support for the MMFM, freeing them up to focus on new business production.

Requirements

A minimum of a High School diploma is required. Five years of commercial lines underwriting assistant or similar industry experience with a property and casualty insurance company is also required. The ability to use a computer and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing is essential as well as possessing a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
